Pros

There are absolutely no positives to working here. The HR team is ineffective, the IT support is even worse, and the office location and overall cleanliness are among the worst I have experienced. Employees are met with mannerless and highly unprofessional behavior in return for their hard work, which creates a deeply unhealthy and demotivating work environment

Cons

1) Whenever there is an issue, employees are expected to work non-stop and cancel all personal plans. There is absolutely no respect for work-life balance. 2) Only two Saturdays are off in a month; the rest are mandatory working days. 3) All communication happens through personal phone calls and WhatsApp. There are no proper professional tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet. This completely invades personal space and makes cross-team collaboration extremely difficult. 4) On several occasions, I had to work full days and entire nights, which took a serious toll on my mental health. 5) Nobody listens to your concerns. Even if work is delayed because of other teams, you receive all the blame and scolding. 6) There is zero professionalism. Senior staff lack basic manners and only care about getting work done, no matter the cost to employees. 7) Worst place to work. 8) The office environment is extremely poor. Bathrooms are not properly cleaned, and during the rainy season the main hall and office floors are filled with muddy footprints. 9) Senior leadership shows no humanity or accountability. They push responsibility downward during issues and completely avoid owning problems. 10) Compensation is highly unfair. Salary is low for this role, workload is the highest, and employees who contribute the least are often paid more than those doing the most work. 11) Almost no bonus, and salary hikes for this role are extremely poor. 12) Overall management is the worst I have experienced. 13) Most promises made during the interview are false. You are assigned work completely outside your role and scope. 14) You need CTO approval for even the smallest decisions, making everyday work extremely inefficient. 15) Even when the stated TAT is 24 hours, approvals usually take up to two weeks, requiring constant follow-ups and escalations. 16] There is excessive drama and unnecessary pressure around taking leave or requesting WFH, even when you have sufficient leave balance and your work can be done remotely. Employees are expected to somehow predict sickness and apply for sick leave in advance, along with doing a full handover even for a single day off. Ironically, this handover process is meaningless because pending tasks are usually untouched when you return. During WFH, you are constantly pinged on WhatsApp and email every hour just to prove availability. In most cases, WFH is denied, and employees are instead forced to take leave. 17] There is constant comparison of your work with senior team members, along with heavy micromanagement, which creates an unhealthy, high-pressure work environment and destroys employee confidence and morale.
