Pros

High base pay, no real commission plan

Anything that you know about business development you can throw out the window. I was never lied to in an interview process like this. Once you get hired you find out that they only want you to only make cold calls. Not only that but they demand you call the same people up to 10x a day. It is insane and unethical. Expect to not be given a laptop on time and to use your personal phone number to harass prospects which they view as a badge of honor. The CCO will not respect any opinion you have and will refer to you as a “phone monkey”. Also if you travel for this job, expect to not be reimbursed for basic things. The CEO (who you will never speak to) books your travel so he can be the one who gets hotel points while still having you expense these costs which can take months to be reimbursed for. This isn’t a good place to work if you want respect. The CCO openly admits he has no EQ and has a problem treating people as actual human beings. Worst experience in my career. I have much more I could say but there is nowhere with lower employee morale I have ever seen. Any positive review here is done because upper management demands you post a positive review. I was never even given a compensation plan for commission. Expect to be lied to everyday.

Company in interesting domain (procurement) which adds to your resume; 100% remote WFH culture is great

Nothing really other than the usual challenges of a young high growth company

Pros

Great work life balance, culture and access to upper management for help and advise. Your inputs to better something are valued and considered. There is potential for the supplier management tool.

Cons

The company forecasted growth to a specific region that never came, so they swiped good talent off. Going the extra mile to be establish a good relationship with customers seemed not good enough. Felt blindsided by my entire hiring and purpose to fulfill within the company. Unfortunate on how things were handled for employees that worked very hard to bring great value and contributions as a whole.
