Things have changed a lot over the years, and unfortunately not for the better. - Teams are constantly being reduced in the name of cost cutting, and every few months there seems to be another round of layoffs. - You're expected to deliver more with less - less people, less tools, less access, but higher expectations around automation and efficiency. - There is a growing focus on replacing experienced employees with interns or lower-cost resources, which has led to a loss of valuable knowledge and expertise. - Several key decisions appear to be made by people who are not always familiar with the operational realities of the teams they manage. -Teams in India are expected to take on significant responsibilities and workloads, but the recognition, compensation, and overall support do not always feel proportionate. - Holidays and employee benefits have gradually reduced over time. - The office culture can be frustrating at times, with too much focus on politics and personal matters instead of performance, learning, and growth. It often feels like some employees come to the office more for the free meals and socializing than for the work itself, yet there is still constant dissatisfaction and complaining. - Some employees work extremely hard while others seem to get away with doing the bare minimum. - A handful of people keep getting opportunities, visibility, promotions, and recognition, while many others who consistently deliver results are overlooked year after year. - Appraisals and bonuses rarely feel connected to actual performance. Don't make decisions based on promises made during hiring, as your experience may be very different once you join. - It often feels like headcount reduction is treated as a success metric, even when it increases pressure on the remaining team members.

It’s a pretty diverse company

Cons

Team of “intrepreneurs” which basically means everyone is looking out for themselves with no true sense of “team” collaboration. Everyone’s a leader which can be chaotic. Daily miscommunication resulting in a lot of finger pointing (and actual arguing!) when things go wrong. Goals and priorities change constantly, sometimes within the same week, stemming from the miscommunication. I’ve worked in high pressure environments before, but this isn’t that type of chaos. It’s disorganized and dysfunctional. All jobs have their issues, but please do your homework before joining and don’t ignore the negative reviews. I really wish I had trusted my gut when I read them.
