Pros

Good learning experience for fresher / people without work experience.

Cons

- Korean staff doesn't care about compliance, audit and operations of local country (India). They are only concerned about their personal benefits, home country (Korea) rules and regulations. - Managerial staff (which will only be Koreans) don't have any managerial abilities, except shouting & pushing local staff. - Company claim to be a global bank, with extensive network of foreign branches. But they only serve Korean clients, without any focus or strategy for localization. - Company don't have any customized policy for foreign country operation, because they don't want to spend on upgrading their system & policies. - Management (Korean) staff don't have any professionalism, they will always ask local employees to work beyond working hours, without any compensation. - Management (Korean) staff will never allow local staff any leaves, forget about annual appraisal or bonus on time. However, the Korean staff will receive everything. - Management (Korean) staff will eat out (80~90%) of bank expense budget in foreign countries and nothing is left for welfare of local staff

Pros

job security is high and employee welfare benefits are quite strong.

Cons

If you are looking for a place for steep learning curve, this is not the place for you. The worst part is poor HR system that lacks a clear understanding of the roles of each department therefore what type of workforce they need. This leads to wrong placement of human resources and loss of strong talents.
