      Pros

      Hatch has some of the friendliest team members I've ever worked with. People really care about their role,

      Cons

      The leadership team don't want to engage in any problems at a detailed level. They want "quick and easy" solutions to a problem that is complicated and challenging. The founders are panicking and trying to take control of every domain, when they have staff who's job it is to handle that. This leads to lack of direction, constant context switching and stress, and ultimately company morale that's in the dumpster.

      Pros

      As a recent hire, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to join this company. The engineering culture is strong, with a shared commitment to doing the right thing. The company's rapid growth, particularly in the AI space, has led to an influx of new talent on the engineering team, which has been a great opportunity for personal growth and learning. The upper and middle management are very supportive and seem genuinely invested in fostering a healthy work-life balance, which is a huge plus. If you're considering joining, I’d say: go for it. It's a great place to grow your career while being part of a dynamic and innovative team.
