Pros

At the time, the "Purple Attitude" made a lot of sense. The company was innovative and very involved in their employee's health. The pay was decent, and there was a lot of promise.

Cons

Day one, I was bullied directly by a "co-worker", and that happened right in front of my supervisor. He didn't even react. Obviously, I could take to the manager. I repeatedly brought up my issues to management, and the answer was that the manager didn't want to be a "drama manager". And yet, the moment of the clique said a single word about me, I was in the office being questioned like the prime suspect on an NCIS show. Despite their unprofessional behavior ( Profane, disruptive during meetings, insulting and borderline harassment) It didn't matter that I was right. It didn't matter that my "team" would do things that were highly unethical. I wasn't part of the clique. So I was quite frankly discriminated against (For many reasons, we won't deal with them here). Worse, I went to HR to ask for assistance and I remember the HR person clearly tell me that this may not be the job for me. There are other jobs I could be looking for if I am not happy. Beautiful. Great advice. I had three offers, I took this one on a recommendation. I guess I should have gone with my first choice. A lot of reviews here say "Forget about getting sick, you are on a warning the moment you call in, or you leave early" My addition is "Unless you have an 'in' with management or your supervisor". If you have a medical condition, you have to kiss a lot of hiney here. If you have principles, you're not going to strive there, move along. You don't "Fit the Profile". I know I didn't, for more than one reason, none of which I had a choice on.

Thank you for your review of HealthEquity on Glassdoor. While it is extremely unfortunate and disheartening for me to personally read and digest, if this is a team members experience, we want to hear. We will fail to positively grow if we do not confront brutal truths that may exist. And it is up to our team members to appropriately and professionally raise their concerns in order to achieve a more productive working environment for all. Personally I am disheartened by this review as I can sense that there was a lot of thought and personal experience in this review. And while it may be challenging to acknowledge, I care. There are many team members and leaders that do care and truly strive to make a pleasant working environment for all. Thank you for your review and contributions to HealthEquity.

Pros

From the very beginning, the experience felt welcoming, thoughtful, and well organized. The recruitment process was smooth and informative, and every interview felt like a genuine opportunity to have real conversations and build meaningful connections. The team was incredibly supportive throughout both hiring and onboarding, which made the transition feel seamless. A great example of the company’s culture is Trailhead, an experience designed to bring new hires together early on and help them connect, learn, and feel part of the organization right away. It’s clear there is a lot of intention behind how employees are supported, especially when it comes to building connection from day one.

Cons

Still early in my time here, but no major cons to note so far.
