Pros

HealthEquity Has great benefits and the pay is good

Cons

HealthEquity used to be a great company to work for but with the acquisition of wage works it has become a hot mess. No one in upper management cares about the team members and how things are not working. We keep buying more companies and can't keep up and we are running HealthEquity into the ground.Spend some time with the lower level employees and understand their jobs and what they do. Stop acquiring more companies until we can get the wage works acquisition figure it out. The training in my department is very very poor and it's affecting job performance, no one seems to care about the training.

We're glad you're happy with our benefits and pay. You're right - our company has changed a lot over the past few years. As we work to scale and grow, we're learning and adjusting to fit our goal of a remarkable purple culture. What you have to say is important; we encourage you to talk with your leader and tell them how you're feeling and any suggestions you have for improvements.

Pros

From the very beginning, the experience felt welcoming, thoughtful, and well organized. The recruitment process was smooth and informative, and every interview felt like a genuine opportunity to have real conversations and build meaningful connections. The team was incredibly supportive throughout both hiring and onboarding, which made the transition feel seamless. A great example of the company’s culture is Trailhead, an experience designed to bring new hires together early on and help them connect, learn, and feel part of the organization right away. It’s clear there is a lot of intention behind how employees are supported, especially when it comes to building connection from day one.

Cons

Still early in my time here, but no major cons to note so far.
