Pros

The benefits are decent and great coworkers.

Cons

The company preaches purple culture and everyone in management wears fake smiles. The experience I had started with subpar training. The content we go over needs at minimum 6 weeks of training. We received quite a few investment calls but we barely touched on the subject. It became clear very quickly that the trainers and most managers have no clue what's going on. Simple questions go ignored and we are told to call question line for assistance. Question line took about 15 minutes on average to reach someone. Keeping a member on hold this long shows that HQY really does not care about respecting the members time. I was made to take calls via a personal bluetooth speaker(which I'm sure violates some sort of privacy laws) even though I made management fully aware of my malfunctioning headset in ample enough time to be sent a replacement. The company is also riddled with neverending card, website, and fraud issues. Please beware!

Pros

From the very beginning, the experience felt welcoming, thoughtful, and well organized. The recruitment process was smooth and informative, and every interview felt like a genuine opportunity to have real conversations and build meaningful connections. The team was incredibly supportive throughout both hiring and onboarding, which made the transition feel seamless. A great example of the company’s culture is Trailhead, an experience designed to bring new hires together early on and help them connect, learn, and feel part of the organization right away. It’s clear there is a lot of intention behind how employees are supported, especially when it comes to building connection from day one.

Cons

Still early in my time here, but no major cons to note so far.
