HealthMarkets is a national agency with 3000 agents in all states. It is led by some of the smartest leaders and agents I've ever worked with who are also nice, fun and good looking! HealthMarkets gives us state of the art technology, a robust lead system and training to get us off to a great start. Agents are rewarded with generous commissions, bonuses, trips and rewards. We are on 100% commission which may be terrifying at first, but once you crack the code, you'll never seek a pay check again by working for "the man". It takes time to be successful, but like anything else that's worth it, trust yourself, trust the process and pull out your inner Nike- Just Do It! Cons
HealthMarkets was acquired by United Health Care a few years ago, and as such has become more "corporate". Training and onboarding can be slow and tedious. All marketing items need to be approved by corporate which takes 2 months so planning ahead is critical.
