Pros

One or two friendly colleagues (if they don't resign before you do).

Cons

Very rude creative director, who doesn’t know how to handle people, time pressure or deadlines. All of the above reflect very badly on the quality of the work and the mental health of the whole working environment. The creative director improperly overshares parts of his private and personal life that employees should not have to listen to on a daily basis. He also seems to have no boundaries whatsoever between his private and working life. He thinks that people working for him are interested in the company as much as he is. He expects people to go above and beyond on literally every single thing, without of course giving anything in return. The office looks nice at first glance, but it’s dirty and it never gets cleaned up properly. If it is clean, it means that the creative director made his employees clean it for him. Sadly, the area where the office is located is very far from the city, it’s hard to get to it if you don’t have a car. If you rely on public transportation be aware of the area, it's very unsafe when it gets dark. In the end, I feel like this and all the rest of the reviews I've seen on this website are self-explanatory. If you value your mental health or even just you'd like to be treated as a human being and not being bullied day in day out, don't go near this company and his creative director.

Pros

The creative projects. There are many nice projects going on with many interesting clients and brands, there is a good mix of everything for many types of industries, such as Telecommunications, music, food, fashion, sports, among others... So you can be very creative with many projects, which is good, because you are not boxed in one category, which sometimes can be tiring. There's a good balance of everything, the creative freedom is appreciated, and it feels rewarding when you see your projects live. My colleagues are very talented, and they are always willing to help each other with technical stuff. The Creative Director is very experienced; he has a clear vision of what he wants and how he wants it. At the beginning, I thought he was fuzzy, but over time, I learned that the little details matter on a project, and I appreciate the feedback, which could be tough, but helped me improve my technical skills. The office is a creative space with high-quality equipment and is professionally set up.

Cons

Location, although it is not far from the City Centre, getting by bus could be a bit tiring, and the neighbourhood is not the best. For some people, who are not ready to hear constructive feedback on the project you are working on could be hard, but once you learn to handle it, you will realise your work improves.

Pros

The environment at HvF fostered creativity, making it an ideal place for anyone passionate about visual storytelling and content creation. From day one, I was encouraged to share ideas and take initiative, which played a big role in my professional and personal growth. The team was a major highlight, my colleagues were incredibly talented, supportive, and collaborative. Whether we were brainstorming concepts, shooting on location, or in post-production, there was always a strong sense of shared purpose. I learned a great deal from the people around me, both in terms of craft and collaboration. The projects were diverse and creatively fulfilling, ranging from commercial campaigns to documentary-style narratives. Each one brought unique challenges and learning opportunities, and it was incredibly rewarding to see our work come to life and connect with audiences. Of course, the role came with its occasional challenges, but they were essential to my growth both professionally and personally, and are simply part of the nature of the industry. Overall, my time at HvF was an inspiring chapter in my career.

Cons

Like any fast-paced creative industry, the cons of working at HvF are largely subjective. If you're passionate, adaptable, and thrive under pressure, you'll find the experience rewarding. Ultimately, if this industry is the right fit for you, you'll do just fine. If not, it might not be the place for you.
