Not bad, not great - Engineer Hexagon Employee Review

Middle Management can be (mostly, not all) useless, they generally lack the right qualifications and/or experience in the areas they are assigned to lead, many demonstrate zero leadership or managerial skills, and cannot make good decisions, or in some cases any decisions at all. One head of department is particularly toxic (and incompetent), many people know it, but no-one appears to want to do anything about it. No career opportunities. No clearly defined strategy or objectives, and some of the management generally lack the ability to listen to the individuals who know what needs to be done and why. There is no plan, literally no plan at all, with only very basic resource management, and so the only reason things generally get done and get done well are because of the proactive engineers who work well with one another to muddle through. This can be very stressful at times and it’s basically because the department is unorganised and lacks leadership.
