The individual workers are phenomenal and extremely dedicated. They work long hours and travel extensively because of their love of the industry -- transportation, utilities, communication, and public safety. Some of the most dedicated individuals and professionals in the industry.
Cons
Limited loyalty from management. Tendency to lay employees off in the later stages of their career. No discussion during layoffs regarding other opportunities within the company. Total fixation on the bottom line and ensuring bonuses for Senior Management at the expense of the employees.
