Fast paced impact - Designer Highline BETA Employee Review

Joining Highline Beta has been one of the best career moves I've made. Although, I was not 100% sure what I was getting into, but I felt that something was different about this, so I decided to trust my gut feeling. Here you always learn, you take ownership and most importantly you get to work with smart, caring and authentic people. I feel like there is a lot of noise in the innovation and startup ecosystem, so working with people who 'walk the talk' and focus on delivering tangible results is very refreshing. You are truly an extension of our corporate partners' and startups' teams because we roll up our sleeves and work alongside them, instead of watching from sidelines.

It's more of a personal preference/cultural fit than a con. Things move and evolve fast, so you must be comfortable with that and be flexible.

If you want to be autonomous while also supported by a team this is a great place to work. The team itself is really fantastic, with a hugely interesting mix of skills so your guaranteed to always be learning something from someone else. People are really helpful and supportive, but you're given a ton of room because everyone believes you will do the best work you can. Good balance between working hard on interesting things, while also understanding that we are all people who have lives.
