Pros

Nine hour work day. Have every other Friday off.

Cons

Pay raises are largely reactive rather than merit based. Employees who threaten to leave receive raises, often with instructions to keep the amount confidential which creates hidden pay inequity and penalizes long-tenured employees who aren't actively job hunting. Management talks about "doing the right thing", but compensation decisions don't reflect that.

So I’m just getting started, but usually you a get a vibe about the culture at a company. So far they are great and there are opportunities to grow within.

Cons

You’ll need surgical hands to do the work. Requires a great of attention to detail.

Pros

The relationships you gain from your coworkers is actually nice. There’s a wealth of knowledge for design that sometimes gets taken for granted.

Cons

It’s hard to get to know others because you’re siloed in your own discipline/group
