Pros
This is a family-run business. If you work here, you are part of the family. It is not a corporate environment. Every person's input matters. You will never do the same thing over and over again. You will use a lot of the skills that you ask "why did I learn this in school." You are able to see what you are doing impact the world around you, whether that is for commercial or military projects. You learn every day. I have learned contract language, government projects, commercial projects, range policies, and many more, even balancing tires. I am more fulfilled here than I have been at any other place. The Hodges care about your career development.
Cons
If you are the "it's not my job" type of person, you won't fit in here or succeed. It takes all hands on deck to operate a family business. You will go as far here as you want, so if you are negative, and don't want to jump in with both feet, you will have a negative experience.
