Pros
Great co-workers and our installers did really nice work.
Cons
Management has no idea how to run a business and treats their employees like human garbage. We were once told in a company meeting that " we are all replaceable and if one person messes up we all loose". As a sales person, if I did my job correctly by measuring and pricing everything out correctly, but then production missed something in the field or our procurement agent ordered something wrong, my commission would be reduced. I don't ever remember sharing in the profits of the company and I sold over a million dollars in projects in under a year! Everyone in the company were also given written warnings for things like insubordination or not hitting ridiculous goals. If you look at the history of sales employees there have been many of the years. I believe something like 30 + over the last 5 years. Most people did not make it past 2 years. I worked there for over a year. We would be paid our commission 1/2 up front and the other 50% once the job was completed. Most projects took 6+ months for the work to start. in my time with the company I was only paid out on 3 jobs. this basically means I worked for only half commission because Homewerks gets to keep all of your back end commission if you quit or are terminated. Is this a coincidence? You be the judge. I wish I would have read something like this before working for this awful company.
