I am sorry to hear that your experience at HomeWerks was not a positive one. Your comment about not paying our bills is unfounded as we continue to work with our vendors and make payroll. Your feedback about our experience in remodeling will be reviewed.

Pros

Pay and benefits were reasonable. Production process and finished product were extremely sound.

Cons

At some point all the s hit you throw at a fan comes back to hit you in the face! Trusting a company with this much history, potential and mostly experienced people to a "numbers guy" is a horrible idea! People love their homes and when they decide to make improvements that cost as much as they do these days, they need to feel that love and passion from those doing the work. That feeling comes from the top down in any company and it shows now how the people that used to work here felt that, or didn't...hence everyone has QUIT!!!

Pros

You can make good money if you are okay with working 60+ hours a week and lying to people.

Cons

There is no one at this company with proper experience and professionalism in the design-build industry. They will hire anyone off the street and "coach" them to sell kitchen and bath remodels. Management is unethical and manipulative. They use MLM style tactics to try and brainwash you to essentially scam customers. They do not care about their customers and they have no respect for the skills required to be a qualified interior designer. They told us at sales meetings that no one needs an interior designer, they can simply get a Pinterest account. They also said they could not believe that anyone could actually get a degree in interior design implying that it is not a real degree.. It was degrading and so misguided. The owner hired an outside consultant who has a seedy background to try and boost sales. This consultant would preach about his favorite self help guru often. This guru, sadly earned his fame and fortune in an MLM, hence the creepy sales tactics and manipulation. My manager would brag about how good he was at manipulating people as if that is a skill to be proud of. They used high pressure sales tactics and it was honestly embarrassing. It was also not necessary. Clients would gladly build a project with someone who they trust and who is qualified to do their remodel without any manipulation.
