Pros
Great opportunities. Each term at Honda as a co-op student, you are placed in a different department. This helped me realize my strengths and determine more accurately what I wanted to do after graduation. There were great managers who went out of there way to work with students on projects, pushing them to become better engineers
Cons
Occasionally co-op students were placed in groups with managers who did not become too involved and did not give them too much responsibility. This, however was not very common (maybe 3 out of about 25 students)
