Pros

Located in several states, diversity and inclusion is not too bad here, and since the pandemic they allow fully remote work. Sorry guys, after the Pandemic they stopped providing free lunch so that's no longer a PRO.

Cons

1. Lack of competitive pay and benefits on the corporate and caregiver level. 2. Leadership and management don't have the best idea of what's going on in the frontlines because they are so high up on their pedestals, and they take so much time off but don't offer good PTO to lower level staff. 3. Lack of transparency across the organization when it comes to compensation and lack of concrete professional development/growth plans. 4. Poor PTO, maternity and sick-time policy for Texas staff. 5. Favoritisim. They promote favorites fast and if you aren't a favorite you get gaslighted when bringing up questions about pay raises or opportunities. 6. Even if you show how much work you put in with metrics and projects if you aren't "teacher's pet" you won't get promoted or get a raise. 7. Retaliation - If you asked about PTO or to work from home occasionally before the pandemic they didn't agree with it and treated employees who asked these questions differently after. 8. Lack of Work-Life Balance- You could be asked to work weekends and holidays anytime even though it's not what you signed up for. They promote and rewards those willing to work 60 hours a week and gaslight hourly staff who say they cannot commit to more than 45 hours a week. 9. Some managers are young and lack experience with working with different learning styles and don't advocate for their team and instead throw them under the bus. 10. Many layoffs- Work is not stable, they have lay offs every year and they post the openings months later with lower pay than the previous staff.

We’re sorry to read about your experience. We want to provide a rewarding work experience for our employees where they feel valued and included. In 2021, we rolled out company-wide parental leave policies and moved to a national compensation strategy to support remote work and to eliminate any pay and benefits differences between our staff in different states. Additionally, in Q2 and Q3 of this year, we began offering leadership coaching to many of our senior leaders as well as partnered with LifeLabs to offer robust manager training to upskill and support our managers. We are committed to making Honor a great place to work and grow your career, so we’re thankful for your feedback. We wish you all the best in your career.

Pros

They're flexible with schedules, and you get a lot of autonomy.

Cons

There's not really a definitive chain of command you report to, which makes some things complicated.
