Pros

Beautiful building and location, covered parking, lots of hard working and good people

Cons

New management was brought into the corporate office in the past couple years and ever since, there has been a tremendous amount of employee turnover and a prevailing culture of fear. The organization itself is operating in a multimillion dollar deficit, so they are using that as an excuse to "eliminate positions." Yet then management continues to receive raises and bonuses as loyal employees are let go. It's a very hard pill to swallow as you walk through the employee parking garage past luxury car after luxury car. Coming here every day is like torture, because you never know if today is the day you'll lose your job. Management is firing people who work hard and have the most knowledge about the company and the systems. Management acts transparent, but are dishonest with answers. Very hostile, passive aggressive environment. There is little to no communication, and the right hand has no idea what the left is doing.

Pros

There are dedicated RTs who genuinely care about patient care.

Cons

Leadership and communication at Four Peaks Medical Center are the biggest concerns. ● There is a lack of accountability when concerns are brought forward. ● The department is highly micromanaged by the director when she is onsite. ● Staff concerns are not consistently addressed. ● Noticeable turnover and open positions remaining vacant for extended periods create ongoing staffing challenges. ● Prospective employees should ask questions about staff retention, leadership style, and how concerns are handled. ● Staff are expected to float to the Florence location when needed.
