Pros
Management is fair and genuinely supports career growth across all roles, not just for architects. The firm is highly focused on producing high-quality design, which encourages strong collaboration with in-house experts such as Model Makers (with every imaginable tool), Visualisers, and the BIM team throughout every design stage. Long working hours are rare, and the work-life balance is good, the office is usually empty by 6:30 pm. Yearly profit sharing(aka bonus) due to Employee Owned Company structure.
Cons
The design language can feel repetitive and overly restrained compared to peers such as Foster + Partners, Grimshaw, RSHP, or Wilkinson Eyre, who have evolved towards more diverse and expressive design approaches over time. After a while, the design becomes extremely predictable. Traditional management style where Job Title promotion can take a very long time(up to more than 5 years in some cases), although salary grows consistently yearly. Bonus(profit sharing) is received yearly, but usually a month's worth of basic salary, unlike other places which could go to several months.
