Pros

Decent work life balance. Two main offices in Milan and New York while other team members are distributed. Really cool to work with a global team.

Cons

They commit resources and budgets to things that often end up in the trash bin. Basically no benefits. They commit budgets to things that don't have a good ROI while they cut bonuses for the team. Some managers tend to micro manage too much, while others are awesome ( depends on the department ). Ultimately the top leadership makes the decisions which are often rushed and not well thought through.

Pros

Fast-paced, early stage startup with lots of smart, talented and kind people. Innovative and creative environment with opportunity for growth. International company with offices in NYC and Milan. Good pay/benefits. Great flexibility due to remote/hybrid work. Smart, capable and accessible leadership.

Cons

Being early-stage, Horizen Labs is still maturing as a company. It took some time to narrow our focus, but we're in good place now. Change is constant so one needs to be ok with pivoting as needed. We haven't had many opportunities to get the entire company together, which is much needed in a remote setting.

Pros

- modern tech - good team (depends) - remote and distributed

Cons

- since it’s a startup things are very volatile and layoffs are frequent - a lot of trial and error which results to products being demolished after months of work - management is OK.. they don’t have your back. it’s survival of the fittest and has to do with your network and favoritism - nepotism
