Pros

Free lunch and snacks and timely salary.

Cons

Currently navigating my role at HotelHub has been quite challenging. The quality of work falls short, work-life balance is a struggle, internal politics are pervasive, and management's demeanor is consistently rude. The prioritization of clients over employees is evident, and planning issues lead to extended working hours due to poor foresight and questionable engineering practices. In essence, the overall experience working here is proving to be a considerable challenge.

Hi, Thank you for bringing this to our attention and it is unfortunate to hear that you had a negative experience. Our goal is always to create an engaging environment for everyone, so we’re disappointed that your expectations were not met. However, we would like to highlight a few points and reply to the suggestions which you have shared with us. 1. Enhance Communication Our constant effort is to ensure we communicate all our organisation decisions to our people in a timely manner. We have ensured that all our teams follow Agile methodology for executing their work. Our leadership meets and reviews the team's work periodically and this not only provides transparency on the work done by our team members, but members can also freely communicate and highlight any issues which are impediments or roadblocks to their work. There are several other sprint events which facilitate communication between senior management and their team members on a regular basis. 2. Prioritize Work-Life Balance In our internal Employee Satisfaction Survey for the last 2 years, work life balance is rated one of the top survey responses with above 90% of our employees rating it favourable. We are committed to providing an acceptable work life balance to everyone at HotelHub. Our hybrid work arrangement (broadly still WFH as it suits employees) and work practices encourage people to manage working hours efficiently with reduced office travel time, promoting healthy family time, taking adequate breaks and not working overtime unless it is critically required. Other leave policies such as paternity leave of 10 working days, bereavement leave of 7 days, limited leave carry forward to 7 days so people take adequate breaks from work are absolute efforts to maintain healthy work life balance. We are happy to listen to your individual experience in detail with the will to support you to have a favourable work life balance. 3. Leadership Training In an effort to provide full fledged learning and development opportunities, we have inducted a dedicated training facilitator to drive learning and development initiatives to address various learning needs. We have also brought in an online LMS platform with self-learning courses. Our premium Sponsorship program helps people avail training programs based on their training gaps/needs. These efforts are not limited to only technical upskilling but also to address non-technical skills including leadership training opportunities. 4. internal politics are pervasive, and management's demeanour is consistently rude Internal politics & Leadership demeanour - While your specific work incidents will help us address this area, please give us an opportunity to discuss this further with you, and would appreciate it if you reach out to us at hr.team@hotelhub.com with the specific incidents that made you conclude your experience on these areas. We commit that our further discussions in this matter will help us strengthen our intent to address. 5. Employee-Centric Approach As an organisation, we believe and strive to drive employee centric approach in all our work decisions, organisation policies and work practices. Our recent efforts such as reorganisation and annual role realignment exercise to promote around 30% of our people reassures our employee centric approach. Our upskill sponsorship program to help people develop their professional skills at company’s cost and people connect conversations to listen to people’s feedback on their experience working with us are honest efforts to imply that our people are our priority. 6. Project Planning and Engineering Practices For many years, we have followed agile methodology to manage our cross functional collaboration and for continuous improvement in our software development efforts. Our project planning, execution and evaluation are driven by agile practices. Our achievements related to product innovations are not possible without the adoption of these practices especially at the pace we achieved. Our 100% customer retention rate is a testament to the efficient product that we develop through these efforts. We are focused towards continuous improvement in all our project management practices and we will continue to bring progressive changes based on expert advice and on people’s experiences. We are disappointed to hear your experience in contrast to our efforts, so we are extending our sincere interest to listen to this in detail and improve our work environment. Please feel free to write to us at manjinder.singh@hotelhub.com and/or hr.team@hotelhub.com.

Pros

1.Strong and supportive management. 2.Helpful and efficient HR team. 3,Good Agile practices, with effective support from the PO ( All good)

Cons

1.Here The SM role ( CQA CT) is primarily to create Jira tickets and oversee them ( More defects are being identified by the client than by our excellent SM) 2.How does he handle client questions without domain knowledge? 3.A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way,and shows the way. 4.The collapse of the entire deployment team is an example of poor SM 5.There is a lack of co ordination within the team.
