Pros

The job is 100% remote. If you had errands to run, you have the flexibility to take care of them.

Cons

1. The company is reactive thinking (They will only hire once they realize they are understaffed) 2. For a company that prides itself on systems and processes, the SOP's and platforms used are chaotic and counterproductive. 3. Management encourages teams to provide feedback; however, if they don't like the feedback, you will hear about it in the team meetings (and not in a professional manner) 4. Even though it is a remote job, there are still clicks, and if you are not part of the click, don't expect to get recognized for your work no matter how hard you bust your ***. 5. If you are looking for a company in which your management provides you with a growth and development plan, then keep looking.

Hi, Thanks for sharing this feedback with us. We’ve been making an active effort to use social platforms such as OfficeVibe to collect anonymous feedback from our teams. Our goal is that our team members feel comfortable sharing their comments and suggestions with the HR Department. I’m surprised to hear these comments and want to invite you to share more details with me directly - HR Coordinator - (if you feel more comfortable, you can do it anonymously). Let me try to address some of the points you raised in your original message. 1 - We have been careful with our hiring because we want to make sure we get it right. We understand it’s important to bring people in as quickly as possible - that’s why we have recently grown our recruiting team. Still, we need to focus on finding the best people for our open roles. 2 - We welcome everyone on the team to provide suggestions on how to improve internal processes. We’ve been growing fast and sometimes processes don’t keep up with it. We have been making a conscious effort of improving our internal documentation and onboarding processes. As a remote-first company, we understand this is vital to long-term success. 3 & 4 - At Hubstaff we don’t tolerate that type of management or behavior. So please, provide me with some more info so I can help make sure these situations don’t happen with you or any other Hubstaffer. We strive to offer an excellent workplace where the importance of sharing constant and respectful feedback is critical. 5 - I would like to invite you to share more details about your thoughts. Just this year, more than 10% of our team members received a promotion, and we intend to increase this number in the next semester. We always do our best to promote from the inside. Hiring from outside is the last resource.

Pros

Everyone who works here is kind, professional, and very talented. The culture here is real, and people are very supportive of each other.

Cons

HR already does its best, but since the company is growing, I think we need more people to focus on HR stuff and not only getting recruiters.

Pros

NONE. I never got paid!!

Cons

Hubstaff is a scam and full of scammers!!! They freelanced me to do a task for $2,700. Then to get my money, I had to venmo them a $70 tax, $250 for a COT (cost of transaction fee - only used by scammers) and then, after I did the wire transfer, they said I had to pay a $500 Reflection fee for it to land in my bank. I refused.!!!
