Hi there, Unfortunately, I believe you didn't have an interview with Hubstaff (or were hired by us). Instead, this is likely someone trying to impersonate Hubstaff to steal personal details under the pretext of offering employment. This is a scammer committing a crime and using us as a scapegoat. We are working towards understanding how to prevent these situations permanently. Hubstaff does not ask for the bank account information of our professionals. As a result, we have never sent checks to buy equipment or pay a professional. We don't do interviews of 4 hrs. Our process is much more complex (3-4 stages, including a technical interview, and the last interview is with our CEO - Jared Brown; each interview has a structure of 45mins - 1hr). Our goal is that our team members feel comfortable sharing their comments and suggestions with the HR Department. I’m surprised to hear these comments and want to invite you to share more details with me directly - HR Coordinator - (if you feel more comfortable, you can do it anonymously). Let me try to address some of the points you raised in your original message. 1 - We have been careful with our hiring because we want to make sure we get it right. We understand it’s important to bring people in as quickly as possible - that’s why we have recently grown our recruiting team. Still, we need to focus on finding the best people for our open roles. 2 - We welcome everyone on the team to provide suggestions on how to improve internal processes. We’ve been growing fast and sometimes processes don’t keep up with it. We have been making a conscious effort of improving our internal documentation and onboarding processes. As a remote-first company, we understand this is vital to long-term success. 3 & 4 - At Hubstaff we don’t tolerate that type of management or behavior. So please, provide me with some more info so I can help make sure these situations don’t happen with you or any other Hubstaffer. We strive to offer an excellent workplace where the importance of sharing constant and respectful feedback is critical. 5 - I would like to invite you to share more details about your thoughts. Just this year, more than 10% of our team members received a promotion, and we intend to increase this number in the next semester. We always do our best to promote from the inside.
