Pros

Work from home is the only pro

Cons

Shady management, I was let go before the holidays because the company lost 4 clients. Suddenly they didn’t like my design style anymore. I went from being their “best designer” to begging for work on a daily basis. I wasn’t given a warning nor time to improve. Suddenly they didn’t like my work and I was out the door. Management talks to you like a friend but in reality they are just building a case against you.

Pros

Working at Hughes Media has been one of my best professional experiences. Being surrounded by a talented team of artists and professionals makes the work both enjoyable and rewarding. The flexible schedule, along with the freedom to take breaks and work from anywhere in the world, is a huge plus and really supports a healthy work life balance.

Cons

As a small team, there’s naturally a higher workload for each person, especially when working under tight, client deadlines. That said, the team is flexible and supportive, stepping in when needed to make sure everything gets done on time and the workload is shared as effectively as possible

Pros

I’ve had a really solid experience working with Hughes Media. The team knows their stuff and is always willing to collaborate, test new ideas, and figure out what’s actually going to move the needle for clients. There’s a good balance between strategy and execution, which makes the work feel purposeful instead of just checking boxes. Communication and transparency are strong, and leadership does a good job of keeping everyone aligned on goals and expectations. Like any agency, things can get busy at times, but Hughes Media is flexible and supportive when priorities shift. Overall, it’s a smart group of people doing good work, and it’s been a positive place to grow as a digital marketer.

Cons

Like most agencies, things can get busy quickly, and workloads can spike during peak times. Some processes are still evolving, so there can be occasional trial-and-error. Fast pace means you have to be comfortable juggling multiple clients and priorities.
