Pros

After thinking (scratching head),I got a point that they will offer you a little above than the market standard (1st part of the trap). While talking with them you will definitely visualize your dreams, happening true(2nd part of the trap). Gradually you will realize that the petrifying nightmare of your life is turning out real. HR's are very sweet spoken. They will listen to you and will keep on listening as this may be the story of every employee Management forces employee to give a good review in glassdoor

Cons

Pathetic work/business model. For namesake this is a company, but it's worse than any consultancy. Almost 100% people works at client side. Company is based on fake promises and cheap micromanagement. You will get only fake promises. Managers don't have work so they are extremely good at micromanagement. They don't know the meaning of priority. You will be always blamed for each and everything Horrible work culture and work life balance, suffocative work environment. Absolute zero mental peace, dirty politics, which will help you to lose all your existing skills. Management is like chamcha of client, so any of your concerns will always be dismissed by management You will be hired for one project and you will have to spend all your life in the same project as they don't have projects at all according to management. Moreover you don't have any options to get rid of the miseries .It's a trap. No career opportunities, Zero flexibility (can be plotted in negative axis) in any aspect Worst company to work for. You will be treated worse than animal rather a human being. Great job security risk due to very few projects, internal politics. If you are done with client side, you are up for a toss. Management forces employee to give a good review in glassdoor Before joining, they will praise, admire you like anything, but eventually it will turn into a unbearable situation, where they will plant seeds to trap you.

Pros

Great learning environment overall, especially if mentored under the right type of person (this factor is critical especially if employed in its India office - most US-based Hughes Systique and Hughes Networks Systems employees - techies or managers - are truly world-class). Great working environment in some projects and groups - the good managers and leads are truly awesome!!!

Cons

Extremely top-heavy org structure - about 40% employees have a 'manager' tag, and about 20% of all employees have corner offices. Number of total employees has remained stagnant over the last 5 years or so - a BIG negative for an aspiring IT Services major. Business acumen of some (not all) of the senior management folks is questionable. House of Extremes - the bad managers can be pathetic at best, horrendous at worst. Sycophantic culture has permeated some parts of the company. Generally considered to be a retirement resort for all senior management types (most of whom have been peers from Hughes Software Systems/Flextronics Software Systems/Aricent). Your chances of vertical growth beyond Senior Principal Engineer/Engineer Manager are next to nil if you are not of the right pedigree (read: an Aricent/HNS/HSS/FSS alumnus).
