Pros

Work environment is great ,food is good

Cons

Salary increments are often delayed by a quarter under the pretext of business not performing well this has happened twice in the last three years. Even under normal circumstances, annual increments typically range between 8–12%, which remains the same even in case of a promotion. Overall, this is not an ideal place if you are looking for strong financial growth.

Dear HSCian, Thank you for sharing your appreciative review of Hughes Systique’s employee‑centric work culture. With regard to the concerns mentioned in the Cons section of your review, we would like to use this opportunity to share some broader context with readers. The current global business environment and its outlook remain challenging, with markets being impacted by several external factors that are beyond the control of any organisation and HSC is no exception. Being part of the same industry, you may also have observed how many organisations have had to let go of employees under the guise of restructuring. At HSC, while we may occasionally be required to take tough decisions, we have never believed in retrenching our employees. This belief has remained consistent through the economic downturn of 2008, the COVID‑19 pandemic, and the current transformational phase the industry is witnessing. HSC has never claimed, advertised, or aspired to be in the top quartile in terms of compensation alone. Instead, our focus has been on offering a comprehensive benefits package, a people‑centric and enabling work environment, a family‑like culture, and opportunities to work on cutting‑edge technologies for global customers elements that collectively make us one of the preferred places to work in our industry. That said, we strongly encourage open dialogue. You are always welcome to connect with your manager, Engineering Group Head, or Engineering Head to share any concerns or suggestions you may have. We wish you many more years of association and growth with Hughes Systique.

Dear anonymous, We’re glad to know that you’ve found the work–life balance at Hughes Systique to be a positive aspect of your experience. In the cons section of your review, you have mentioned that “Management doesn’t understand tech” and also that our employees are “technically dumb” with the organisation being “slow paced” and having “no tech growth”. For the betterment of the readers of this review, we would like them to know through you that an organisation which has been on the growth path that we are on for the past 20 years would not have been possible if our management would not be knowing tech. It is indeed ironical that someone who have just started their professional journey commenting in such an ill manner about their senior colleagues in the management – who are considered as experts in their respective areas and possess decades of experience. Your comments are not only misleading, vague and devoid of any context but also display your ignorance and lack of professionalism or logic. We would like you to know that HSC works for some the leading OEM’s and product companies around the globe. From the four state-of-the-art R&D centres, around latest Digital Technologies like Cloud, AI & ML, NoSQL/SQL databases, Microservices architecture, Spring boot, Angular, React, Python, Django, Selenium. In Wireless, we are working on most cutting-edge work in the 5G, O-RAN, Software Defined Radio, LTE, M-plane, Network Function Virtualization and satellite communication, Embedded development using C, Linux, Microcontroller, RPA etc. In addition to the technologies above, we are also building expertise in the new age technologies, like AI-ML, Quantum Computing/Cryptography, ORAN, 6G, etc. So, when you say that there is no “tech growth”, the comment in itself is invalid and is missing facts. Had you still been a part of HSC we would have encouraged you to talk to your manager, engineering group head or for that matter with the Engineering Head and share your concerns and suggestions in-person. Or you could have leveraged internal platforms like Q2M, Zero Hour, Amber etc. and shared it anonymously, if you had wished so. Nevertheless, wishing you the best for your future endeavours.
