Cons
There are not many cons.
Pros
- Solid company with strong contracts - Great pay and benefits - HSI respects and appreciates their people They say their people are their best asset, and last year during the government shutdown, they put their money where their mouth was - offering non-contract work for us to do at home so that we could continue to get paid. - Their HR folks are very sincere and caring to make everything work well for their employees
Cons
- Sincerely, none that I can think of at this time.
Pros
There are tons of amazing things about this company, but I'll list a few to keep it succinct: **People -- the people I get to work with everyday seriously brighten my life. We all have bad days, but overall my co-workers have been supportive, welcoming, brilliant and insightful. **Environment -- the DC location is great. It's close to the client, surrounded by food-trucks and has an in-building gym (plus a roof for when it's not snowing). **Trust -- my supervisors here have given me the tools I need to do my job, and they trust me to bring my best. Having been in environments where former employers have done neither, I feel that I accomplish and grow more here. **Challenge -- work isn't always easy -- and I don't think it should be. there are times when I'm frustrated by expectations or demands, but my team recognizes and supports me, and in the end I know we brought amazing work. **Community -- social events happen regularly, and people seem to really enjoy what they do and their co-workers. Overall, I enjoy coming to work and the time I spend here, which is saying something!
Cons
It's still growing, so there do seem to be a few hiccups -- still working out what is most efficient. I don't really have anything negative to say.
