Pros
I've felt very supported by the ICON management team and feel like my contributions are valued. The benefits package is excellent in my experience as well. The Thrive program seems to be a great benefit for my team members, but has not been good for me.
Cons
I work in the ISS side of ICON that used to be PRA. Since the position is contracted to a specific Sponsor, when the sponsor terminates the contract it leaves employees in a bit of a limbo. the Thrive program is excellent when it works, but it has not been working well for me, as I have not been able to find a new position with the impending termination of our sponsor contract, despite the help of a recruiter. I have repeatedly been told it's due to my lack of a degree, and that other sponsors are not willing to look at my years of experience in lieu.
