Pros

ICON has very talented and knowledgeable team members. Unfortunately, the salary is not at par with other CRO’s. The raises and bonuses are poor. Management will not listen to employee opinions for improvement. The company had several layoffs in the past year and is seriously understaffed. Training needs to improve for multiple departments.

Cons

No acknowledgment or appreciation of achievements. Employees are just a number with no support from management. Directors have poor communication and the communication between different sectors of ICON is extremely disappointing. No bonuses were given to employees one year. 2024- Merit for outstanding is just around 1%. Ridiculous. If you want a living wage for the US, work elsewhere.

Pros

Really great manager. Remote work major plus. No micro management. Great pay

Cons

Annual salary increase this year isn't until September which is odd.

Pros

Great team up to director level. Good place to start career, however not many open positions in US

Cons

Contracts are often unclear not including all needed services, leading to financial overburn. The company relies on multiple tracking systems, creating inefficiencies and frustrations for employees, and prioritizes hiring in low-cost regions, which are known for high employee turnover.
