Pros

Legacy PRA side of business still maintains some of the processes, values, and culture of PRA. Supportive line managers. Decent pay coming from Legacy PRA and 6 weeks of PTO due to tenure. Lots of available training and knowledge databases to support activities in PM. Proper work life balance, never have had to manage more than 2 studies.

Cons

Promotions are difficult to come by and constantly being told a “business need” is necessary. Merit increases do not keep up with inflation. With ICON acquisition, not all systems harmonization has gone smoothly and some have gone back to archaic processes (especially with finances). Layoffs in various departments to move the roles to low cost centers makes it more difficult to manage a study (everything is a day behind because there is literally a 12 hour time difference). Constant changes in roles and responsibilities across various departments seem to have increased number of FTLs who are inexperienced in actually leading their functional area.

Pros

Really great manager. Remote work major plus. No micro management. Great pay

Cons

Annual salary increase this year isn't until September which is odd.

Pros

Great team up to director level. Good place to start career, however not many open positions in US

Cons

Contracts are often unclear not including all needed services, leading to financial overburn. The company relies on multiple tracking systems, creating inefficiencies and frustrations for employees, and prioritizes hiring in low-cost regions, which are known for high employee turnover.
