Pros

Training was great and the women are organized. They try to make it fun.

Cons

Base salary is not even livable and the commission structure is pitiful. Only the sales reps who are the best at harassing people will reach their goals. You are constantly lying to hard working people asking them to shell out thousands and promising them matches that don’t exist. The amount of anxiety I felt while working for this company was out of this world. 40+ hours per week and hit my quota only to receive $500 bonus. Absolutely pitiful commission structure and no wonder the turnover is soooo high!! Out of date technology from 30 years ago. No other company I’ve worked for in my adult life has had such poor technology.

Pros

This is a great company to work for - it is remote and they make allowances for time differences. The culture is great, very welcoming and team oriented

Cons

The work itself can be emotionally draining but that is nature of matchmaking.

Pros

Other people in your role feel the same way, really sweet clients

Cons

The Directors aka "Matchmakers" (they are not matchmakers, they are sales people) know nothing about their clients. The only true matchmaking done is by client advisors who actually care and advocate for clients (when they can). To be fair - the director’s sales goals/quotas are impossible to hit and keep getting worse, which is why they take on any client - YES everyone deserves love but when you market yourself as a service for "busy working professionals intentionally dating" and then allow someone who hasn't worked in 6 years or who people who are "separated" aka not divorced and not serious about dating in your service then THAT takes advantage of the people who spend thousands of dollars for you to set them up with "busy, working professionals". The only guarantees are that a match fits someones "age, parental and religion preferences" something that is stated in the contract but is contradicted when making the sale by directors telling them they have matches that check "all their boxes" and other blatant lies like they will only go out with people within 20 minutes of them or that we have "1000s of people" and they will go out 5x a month and then when they are put out with match after match who in fact do not check any of their boxes (outside of age, parental & religion preferences) and rightfully get upset, it is up to the client advisor to clean up that mess. Upper management & trainers have been at the company for 10+ years and don't care. When you go to them with concerns or suggestions they refuse to listen to sales calls or find solutions AKA do their job. They tell you to support the lies. Then you are yelled at for not getting enough positive reviews for the month when you've spent the entire month putting out fires and getting screamed at by rightfully angry clients. It is a truly a joke of a company. If you are soul-less and have no issue scamming 70 year old women, sure apply! It's easy work. However if you like to sleep peacefully at night, run far away.
