Pros

Exposure to different aspects of the business.

Cons

Extremely poor work-life balance defined by unbound hours, frequent weekend demands, and zero leave flexibility. Management completely lacks employee focus, fostering a toxic culture driven by arrogant leadership. Furthermore, HR acts merely as a puppet for management, actively fueling divisive office politics. I strongly advise against working here; it is a highly stressful, unsupportive, and dysfunctional workplace

Pros

The employees are friendly. Yearly fun events. Safety is priority. Pay for furthering education. Stock plan is available. Opportunities to cross train in different departments. They usually promote from within.

Cons

Pay cuts by 10% if the business is struggling. Excessive overtime at times. Really high highs and really low lows. The upper management seems more like a boys club. Important information is rarely passed onto lower level workers and are left to find out through 2nd hand information. Everyone has a different production plan so you have 4 or 5 different people telling you different things they need. Operators are given short set up times that are unrealistic, then get disciplined if they don't hit their numbers consistently. Lack of training to new hires, usually thrown on a machine and trained by other operator for a week and then they are on their own. Team leads are stretched thin and often have more responsibilities than what is listed in the job description. Machines are left broken for weeks.
