There are a lot of opportunities for growth and the company has a family culture. They have very high expectations, and the owner of the company is totally inspiring because of her fearless attitude and can-do, never-say-die attitude.
Cons
The pay could have been better, and the corporate office was far from our location, so there were times when decisions would be made by corporate without getting al the facts from the field offices.
Good job to get your feet wet in pension administration
Cons
Very low pay considering the amount of work you do. What's more, employer is a federal contractor for a federal pension agency. Contract guidelines leave little wiggle room for advancment and raises. Contractor unfortunately has/is making their margins on the only cost they have: human capital expenditures. Read: your salary.
