Pros

Colleagues are friendly and there are some smart industry veterans. Pretty much WFH with occasional office. As someone mentioned, seems like most are just collecting paychecks. This could be good or bad or maybe both?

Cons

The company is run by clueless HR and Supply Chain. HR seems to know least about HR and Supply Chain is one the most unprofessional and disrespectful people I have ever worked with. Not sure what the founder's ultimate goals are but, you can't build a car company with such a small group of people. No real engineering here, just a lot of outsourcing to lowest bidders. Such a waste of time. I should've known. To sum it up, this place has FITYMI or more like FITYGC attitude. Reminds me of an other EV startup which had Tesla's firstname as company name. It's just a matter of time.

Often when we terminate an employee, they feel a lot of resentment which then turns to anger, and often HR is blamed. This former employee is lashing out to HR and also to Supply Chain. I'm sorry you feel hurt for being terminated. There will be a company that matches your personality better out there. Go in peace.

Pros

I researched and heard not very encouraging or idyllic feedback about working at Independent Electric Vehicles prior accepting a contract. However, I am very rebellious and have learned to evaluate an environment for myself. I realized that the company had some growing pains as most startups do, but they are able to look ahead to the future and growth in the EV space. This is not a micromanaged workplace and management practices "service leadership management" which is refreshing. This is one of the few companies that actually encourage work/life balance. Working at Indiev you get a true sense that everyone is expected to pull their own weight and actually perform the work that they were hired to do as professionals. There is also a sense of openness and camaraderie among the teams and management in building the electric vehicle since the staff is not huge like other companies in the same niche. I enjoyed my time with the company and highly recommend anyone seeking a really awesome environment to check them out for yourself and tone out all the negative chatter/feedback.

Cons

Inaccurate feedback from past contractors or employees who were given multiple chances to succeed.
