Pros

Good exposure to oil and gas industry

Cons

- Nepotistic company leadership ran off key employees through destruction of the culture and incompetence - Company has lost touch with reality and creates products that “look cool” or “feel smart” rather than spending time and energy on actionable business goals - Software development and R&D team are basically the owner’s pet project, and he will run anyone off that does not fit that goal - Sales team is now incompetent with no employees left who have any meaningful experience with the product in the field or in customer offices - Operations department has been disbanded after the company’s failed transition in moving from Louisiana to Houston - Customers are very upset and looking for alternatives

Pros

At IPT Global, integrity isn’t just a word on the website — it’s the backbone of how we operate every day. As an Operations Manager, I see firsthand how teamwork is the glue that holds our high-performing teams together. We’re constantly driving continuous improvement, both in our technology and in ourselves. Leadership is approachable, and there’s a strong culture of trust that empowers you to make an impact. If you want to be part of a company that combines cutting-edge innovation with genuine collaboration, this is the place.

Cons

The pace can be demanding. Oilfield operations move constantly IPT is always pushing the bar higher. There are times resilience, adaptability, and a willingness are required. If you thrive on leaning into challenges it can be incredibly rewarding.

Pros

Great starting point for someone entering the industry. The pay was good, but they started low balling new hires greatly.

Cons

Not a career and can't grow. Management has its favorites and does not listen to those in the field. If you speak up, you will be immediately targeted and labelled a problem. I've seen a lot of people leave the company because of poor management, and I later followed suit. Management does not honor what they say, and before I left, someone was promoted to my manager who had never worked in the field. Make that make sense, he's trying to give me advice on something he's never done and had no clue to what he was talking about. When I challenged him on his knowledge, I was told, "I will have to get back with you regarding this topic". I was promised a raise for years, but after voicing my concerns was told I would now have to wait a year before I could even be considered for a raise. I left the company immediately following that convo. In my opinion, this is the most incompetent leadership I’ve ever been under.
