      Failing company with no respect for its employees

      Good exposure to oil and gas industry

      Cons

      - Nepotistic company leadership ran off key employees through destruction of the culture and incompetence - Company has lost touch with reality and creates products that “look cool” or “feel smart” rather than spending time and energy on actionable business goals - Software development and R&D team are basically the owner’s pet project, and he will run anyone off that does not fit that goal - Sales team is now incompetent with no employees left who have any meaningful experience with the product in the field or in customer offices - Operations department has been disbanded after the company’s failed transition in moving from Louisiana to Houston - Customers are very upset and looking for alternatives

      Very poor leadership and a lack of integrity

      Pros

      Great customers. Modern technology. Wonderful people in the day to day operations of the business that really care, but they have a very limited influence.

      Cons

      Executive Leadership is absent and driven by ego and emotional decision making. They put people down and destroy motivation in a way I’ve never seen before. Integrity, starting at the very top, is lacking. Family nepotism in key positions has led to extremely unqualified job appointments that damage company culture and make employees scared to speak up and be honest. The direction of the company is unclear and there is zero trust. As such, they display some of the most intense micromanagement I’ve ever experienced. All the talent that was able to leave has left, and the new talent that comes in does not stay long.

      -You can find some really great people that care about what they do and the people they work with -Decent benefits and pay for the level of skill needed to perform job duties

      Cons

      -Zero appreciation for truly talented folks that work there -Micromanagement and arrogant leadership is killing the company culture -Can be a toxic place especially in the office -Preach positive culture but do not practice what is preached -Poor leadership starting at the very top
