Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re pleased that you find our company culture and atmosphere inspiring. We put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring that we create an inclusive and welcoming environment and that we hire great people for you to work with. With the doubling in size of our People team since October, we are working with our Leadership Team to create templates to support them in building out clearer Career pathways and frameworks to help our people understand the skills required in their current roles and how to develop skills ready for the next role, whether they’re looking to move sideways, upwards or elsewhere, so we are keen that you will feel the benefits of that as it rolls out. We encourage everyone to discuss their skills development needs with their Manager and the People team will guide and support these discussions by identifying appropriate learning solutions to meet those needs. It’s early days in building these robust Talent Management frameworks at IWSR, but we will be starting to build clearer growth paths to support your career this year.

Pros

Most of the staff and great people. The company is mostly accommodating to personal life balances. Lots of flexibility and a fun industry to be in.

Cons

A 50 year company still run in start up mode with lots of challenges that make efficient and accurate work challenging. Research teams are misled on salary, raise, and bonus expectations. Little room for growth, career training or personal development
