Pros

Free Coffee at the office.

Cons

If you are considering working at Icomera, do yourself a favor and read through these reviews. Pay special attention to the canned responses from the corporate PR department. Ask yourself if a healthy company would need to pay someone just to argue against it's own employee's opinions online. All of these low-scored reviews are honest and 100% do reflect the working conditions at Icomera. The company has burned through so many great hard-working, intelligent employees over the years, it is actually heart-breaking. Healthy companies simply do not have these types of high turnover, poor retention problems. It is not because of Covid, or the economy, or any other external factor that they will try to blame. It is squarely due to upper management, or better described as Mismanagement. Working conditions are abysmal. Pay is comically low. Morale is completely lost. There are many better companies out there. Do yourself and your family a favor and dont work for Icomera. Find yourself a company that actually cares about you and won't exploit your labor for pennies. Leave the company to the folks that are driving it into the ground. You will be glad you did.

Pros

In the early years, the company had a strong sense of purpose and momentum—it genuinely felt like a well-oiled machine. Teams were aligned around common goals, and collaboration came naturally. Working with colleagues in the UK and Sweden was a highlight; they were talented, professional, and enjoyable to work with. The global nature of the company created opportunities to learn different working styles and perspectives. At its best, the environment was fast-paced, energizing, and rewarding.

Cons

The management team in the U.S. office was the company’s biggest weakness. Decision-making was often unclear or inconsistent, which led to frustration and inefficiencies. There was a noticeable disconnect between leadership and the day-to-day realities of the teams doing the work. As the company grew, management issues began to erode morale and the strong culture that existed in the early years. Better leadership alignment and accountability in the U.S. office would have made a significant difference.
