Pros

The work was enjoyable and interesting Fair base wage (for contracted hours)

Cons

Severely understaffed leading to high workloads and unrealistic expectations. An expectation to finish what you’re working on no matter how long it takes. A colleague worked 2 x 14 hours shifts consecutively with no notice (which goes against the contract!) An expectation to cancel any plans you may have. Cold-hearted management. Terrible customer service from many and extremely long waiting times for customers led to embarrassing situations for staff genuinely trying to help. Poor training

Pros

I have been working with Iglu for over 10 years and have had the chance to progress in my career from an intern to a director role. The flexibility and work-life balance are great, as well as having both remote work and office options.

Cons

A lot of independence is required.
