Pros

If you don't have any life outside of work and only care about the possibility of making more money down the road -- this is for you!

Cons

I was told this promotional job was 11-7, and that we would "talk about pay in the future." There were 4 interviews. On the phone, in person, and in the store. Then I go to the first day and learn that you are also required to show up in a suit at 8:00am every morning for 2 hours of "school." This school is very similar to elementary/middle. You will learn middle school business class and there's even gold stars on the board every day for the best dressed person. I think the school is to brainwash the zombie employees into thinking they can be at the top of the pyramid scheme. Yes you're making under $8 an hour now (plus commission when it applies) but you COULD be making more if you study all day for your Sam's Club promotions, go to unpaid "one on one's" with "promoted employees" who make the same pay as you, participate in conference calls every Sunday morning at 9am, and nearly spend every day chasing the Sam's Club dream. You want that $75K don't you? One person out of like 50 gets paid decent. Wake up people, this company is a joke. I'd be happier selling ice cream cones.

Pros

I guess a pro would be that after this interview you want to go out and find the best referral site and write the BEST review about how HORRIBLE this company is.

Cons

First of all, it is a bed of lies. From the get-go you are being lied to just based on what their ads say they are looking for. No matter what they tell you- this is what it is : You will be going out to SAMS CLUB and setting up a table of tub-o-ware or Shamwows or some other stupid product, and put on shows for customers, look like a fool and try to make a sale. Oh and the pay, the "400-700" a week, is not that at all. Another lie. You will be getting $7 an hour, or a commission off of how much tub-o-ware you sell. What REALLY bothers me about this company, is that they target kids out of college. One one hand it angers me that they would prey on the most desperate for jobs. On the other hand, it makes me realize that my education has well paid off for me to realize a scam when I see it. Just for reference, I was a promotional model / brand ambassador in college, and this job is like a Walmart version of that. I got paid $25 an hour to promote products, not sell, not push, not do stupid shows; to walk around a bar and give away shots. This is literally promotional something with a fancy name that pays a third of the price. Such a waste of my time and Gas!
