Pros
The commercial team, specifically, housed some genuinely great people. A lot of Impact's former employees still maintain great friendships post employment. The Happy Hours were fun and NEEDED. After being disrespected, belittled and overworked by leadership AND clients the least they could do was bring in chips and margaritas.
Cons
I will bet my last dollar that the good reviews are done by leadership trying to help increase the ratings. 1st lie: "The large majority of people writing negative reviews have been let go for being at best AVERAGE". Impact has hired some amazing professionals. At one point there was some great growth potential, but if you are not a insensitive, arrogant, money-hungry robot like the owner, you're gone. 2nd lie: "I have been working at Impact Management Services full-time (More than 10 years)" The only person that has been at Impact for 10 years is the CEO. The turnover is RI-DICULOUS. The highest internal headcount was 49 in Jan 2016. However, there has been about 35 employees that turned over between 2015-2016. You do the math. If you're considering working at Impact, I'll give you a rundown of an average day here: Walk in employee(s) at a site that is at least 30miles away from your home at 6am (They may or may not show up but you better be there). 1-2 conference calls with your team and leadership, a two-hour meeting about a meeting. Driving to a MI Works Office for interviewing and orientations. Go back to the office for folders, hiring, firing, and whatever new taskS leadership comes up with. And somehow you still need to find time to remember to breathe.
