Pros

Co-workers nice flexible with schedule sometimes pay is somewhat okay for the job

Cons

Training is worst than I have had anywhere else ever. How you gonna sit someone in a room and train them without papers or anything to help them do the job. They sit you in a room and say watch me. I work at a drug store and had better training in my one week than I had in my few week training there. They tell you you gotta notate accounts but don't tell you what you need to notate with. Do I notate after every call? Then they do these silly meetings telling you to do this and this and the meeting long, and pointless. There is almost a 6 month expiration date on your employment with them. There is way to much turnover here. You all need to look at what your doing wrong cuz if you got a 6 month turn over rate and you all hiring all the time for the same positions somethings wrong with your management and your training. How do you expect people to do good in the job, and to catch on if your training sucks? They don't even give you a handbook of what you should be doing. How am I supposed to know I'm doing something wrong if you don't check my work then check it once after 3 months of me having to figure it out on my own and want to say I'm not doing it right. Don't even get me started on all the changes in management. if you got a turnover rate this high you need to start looking At your trainer and your managers. Even when you got good excuses as to why you late or absent they still gunna talk to you about your attendance. SMH. family comes first but then when you trying to take care of your family they write you up for it.

Pros

In 2017 I was hired as a vinyl cuter/ production worker. In 2018 I was reassigned to the proof coordinator position. I have since moved to running the graphics (production) as well as customer service and proof coordination of my own Ecom brand in a different industry than Imperial. However, in spite of being a different industry- the skills that I learned in both the vinyl cutting room (smart, functional designs catered to the existing production techniques, vs. "open ended design skills learned in an average 4 year program") This is extremely important for any graphics related job. As proof coordinator, I used these skills to gap the bridge between production and, a new position, and skill I hadn't previously utilized - customer service. I have never reached out to a former owner/boss and thanked him for the skills I learned in his shop- however I did just that with these owners, and I will thank them again! Mitchell Eklum

Cons

Its a tough industry -graphics, production and small scale manufacturing, with a lot of overseas competition and a lot of overhead. Its not always easy, but don't take any "unappreciative pay" as being personal.

Pros

A great local business that does business locally, nationally, and globally.

Cons

The head owner, Bill, is an abusive tyrant who breathes life out of any room he enters. He is a formal and a fossil of a leader who can stand to use some modern and relevant courses in organizational behavior and leadership. He leads by fear and indication as opposed to being admired and respected. He's all business with no personality. Meanwhile, his brother, Rick, is the complete opposite. Where he is friendly, approachable, and engaging, he may be a bit unorthodox and do things his way, which may not always be the best way of doing things. Still, his attitude and how he treats you allow for more of a threshold on what may be considered shortcomings. It is more welcoming than the energy Bill brings to the table.
