Pros

Fantastic people to work with on the team. Flexible 4-day work week (if wanted by employee). 100% Remote and office options when employee lives nearby. Constant innovation and service evolution from top management with always an improoving SEO service & consultancy.

Cons

Maybe not enough employee in person interactions / workshops as the teams are very internationally located.

Pros

It’s almost been a year since I’ve worked at improove, but the best part about improove was, there were smart people working at this agency. With that said, the smartest people were open to being vulnerable, and accepted their faults and inabilities. That’s how the US department and team members grew (even subconsciously). Improove was lucky to have brought talented people to their agency (within that year I was around), and the US department was lucky to grow and exchange knowledge between members who knew they could advance themselves in many ways; be it SEO, Data, Content, Web Dev./Programming, Strategy, PM, Operations. It was a great place for a few who were keen to develop and grow. A truly lucky place to grow in a startup environment. It wasn’t the best place for some just looking for a 9-5, but those who knew it’s potential (and didn’t let their pride take over them), grabbed a lot of skills and knowledge, and it was a great experience with FANTASTIC WORK LIFE BALANCE - I hope that’s still a thing - love a place where the company tries to cater to your needs (Thank you!). Not all leaders were able to provide the quality of leadership necessary for the department to flourish, but for the most part, the leaders I worked with, did more than a fantastic job.

Cons

It being an agency position, and a small startup vibe to be exact, know-how was indispensable. Some team members came off a bit too proud, and they weren’t open to change - a fear of being unqualified I think filled their psyche, but those who flourished and wanted to succeed, were capable to work with others, and allowed others to progress too. With that said, seems like the only con was the diaspora of employee interest and lack of interest, as well as leadership skill gaps in management/leadership for some in their own personal roles. But this con was limited to just a few handful of people. Not to be judgmental, but for the most part, there were a few good leaders there (even the CEO I approve of) in their own right.
