Pros

Pros for normal employees - zero! Pros for seniors' relatives and sportsmen - innumerable; plenty! So, my personal super strong suggestion to those who are applying for this company is -find some link/connection to the so-called seniors with subnormal intelligence there and get hired. Or else, if you are a good cricket/snooker player, apply for the job and show your capability. Once you prove that you are a good player in any of those sports, you are 'star'. Note that 'work' or your programming skills are not worth to mention here...of course, that would be irrelevant if I mention! lol

Cons

Extremely unique brains (who said that unique is always good; unique means not matching to normalcy!). Check these nonsensical steps. Because from an employee's view, these are very important things to be kept in your mind - > They have Star of the Week. Now the title has 'week' in that but it has NOTHING to do with 'week'. The winner is selected NOT on that 'weekly' basis. Instead, what works there is your 'terms' with other employees. If you are good at someone in giving company in smoking or chewing gutkha, you get the award. The award has nothing to do with talent. It's just the 'relationship' that works. Because the award is decided by the previous winner! So, if you are in good terms with the former winner, you are sure to get that! LOL > They have Resonance as an annual function. Just like the word 'week' has nothing to do in Star of the Week, the 'annual' word has nothing to do with 'year'. Annual things happen yearly, here, it is random. Weekly performance depends on that 'week' but it has nothing to do with 'week'. LOL >You may find Stars of the Week or Star Performers or Stars of the Year being sacked anytime! So today star, tomorrow dirt! LOL > They have a conference room which is badly known as 'Maratha Mandir'! In Maratha Mandir, DDLJ movie spent 15 years and the outcome is the same. Similarly, this conference hall called Maratha Mandir will have meetings for months and years with zero outcome! LOL, hats off to those all seniors who coined this term! CEO is always on his high horse smiling and thinking to have great meetings! > Seniors keep on changing their departments! This is exactly like Indian Parliament where goons and nonsense people hold high chairs! As Coal Minister has nothing to do with chemical or mining engineering, the seniors have nothing to do with the expertise required for the department they head. The Coal Minister can be Railway Minster in the next term, similarly, the senior handling one department can be changed to any other department! See there, no expertise required. Why expertise is not required? Simple - because 'expertise' NEVER drive any department here, what does is POLITICS. All seniors are 'seasoned politicians' and thus can be transferred from one department to another any time! > They pretend to be advanced and happening! They own a dog that can move all across the floor. It has freedom to bark constantly. On the other hand, you have many threatening messages from the HR (not exactly HR, they are those politicians seniors only!) to maintain silence! Imagine that they even had shot an email where they calculated the time to go from your seat to the exit and saying that not more than these minutes should be taken when you are leaving for the day! You are not supposed to stop anywhere while moving in the office. To move freely, you need to be a 'dog'! > Appraisals and increment happens secretly. The management does not call you, you need to go, settle the account the way you want! Again, relationship is what matters. Well, there are many who have not go any increment for past so many years -the company says it is making loss. However, you see NO efforts from any management personnel. Their world tour is continued in the names of getting projects (nothing comes though!). They have traveled entire Europe, Australia, and America in the name of getting new projects and clients. As an employee you'll think that something fruitful will happen, but you keep dreaming! > There is a great mismatch between sales department and the development teams and leaders. Sales people with fake promises come up with projects worth peanuts and then development departments suffer. You always find these two departments quarreling on Estimated Cost and Actual Cost. Ultimately, they need to play a trick and get more money from the clients. Ethics in pieces there! > You may find CEO extremely moody. So, if he's talking to you with utmost respect and care, don't fall in the illusion. On the very next day, you'll be insulted by the same person in front of others! You may never find any senior (including the CEO) calling others 'aap' (the respected form of 'you'). It's always 'tu' (the disrespected form of 'you'). Calling someone 'tu' gets these seniors freedom to use any insulting language. > Third rate quality of company's canteen food but again, it is in association with one of the seniors so...it'll carry on! A 5 rupee tea outside a railway station will be better than the tea or coffee served here. Ah..but seniors are served with better beverages. > You need to check whether water is coming from the jet-spray before sitting! I mean this is extremely unique! It is said that you can judge any company or premises' exclusiveness by visiting its toilets! I certainly believe that after looking at the washrooms here! > Salary in two parts. Even positive reviews (fake reviews actually because only seniors and HR department posts positive reviews) will NEVER speak about salary in two parts and late increments. CEO goes missing at the time of increment! > If you are close to seniors, you'll hear them planning parties only. And, if they are discussing any office matter, it'll be conspiracy to sack someone or teach him/her the lesson. Yes, in front of the CEO, things change dramatically and they discuss ONLY projects! CEO's bad! I'm not sure whether the space is sufficient to write all cons. If you are applying for the post, read this all carefully. However, in the market of Ahmedabad and Gujarat, all know IndiaNIC's situation. In fact, if any IndiaNIC employee goes for an interview in any other IT company, they bargain in the salary and offer lesser salaries as they know that IndiaNIC employees are always helpless and will work anywhere at any salary! Many finance companies have blacklisted this company and thus if you are an employee seeking any loan or financial favor, those companies will deny! Thanks to salary in two parts, no increment, worst reputation of the company, and terrible balance sheet!

Pros

Get good exposure as freshers. Get to learn a lot as freshers. Flexible work hours.

Cons

- Bad politics internally. - No respect for local people working there. Only outsiders gets attention especially foreign interns. A dog gets more attention and respect than the one who works there. - Hard to grow both professional and financially if you don't understand and be the part of this internal politics. - Internal communication issues and lack of technical project managers. - Handle's deadline and work load unprofessionally. Once project start sinking, top management starts the blame game and no one rally digs into the problem and try to tackle the situation. Normally developers becomes victim of this blame game. - Salary not get credited on time. - CEO of the company is a great man but sometimes it seems that he is totally unaware about the situation and; the complaints and information that are supposed to be pass on to him does not reach to him.
