Pros
- Small teams for the most part - Flexible PTO, work life balance is good - Break rooms stocked with snacks and drinks - They throw a good amount of events and they make an attempt at team building - Products/sales aren't decreasing, they aren't increasing either but at least they're not decreasing
Cons
- Very little regard for employees, especially those under director level - Management doesn't take advice seriously. Most managers seem to be on either extreme of micromanaging or completely aloof - Cases of harassment are swept under the rug - An overall pessimistic energy throughout all employees - Pay is either absurdly high for upper levels, or absurdly low for everyone else - Next Gen product has potential but has been executed poorly (code was refactored four times, very buggy in crucial ways, poor attempt at microservices, sales crew won't even try selling it) - High turnover - Very low diversity - Low visibility, lots of false promises I wouldn't ever recommend for someone to work here. It's a very dated company with old fashioned values and habits. You will rarely see any contribution for the hard work you do, management is very hard to work with, and you can get much more money virtually anywhere. I would say give it a shot if you're a VP or above but even then you'd probably still get stuck in a cubicle.
