Pros
Some people in Care team are nice.
Cons
If you’re considering a role with this company, be prepared for an environment where leadership is inconsistent, and employees are easily disposable. The company presents itself as a place of growth, but in reality, they rarely follow through on promises or support long-term development.
Leadership can change abruptly and without warning, and when that happens, the focus often shifts to short-term gains rather than long term strategy and well-being of the team. In my experience, when leaders are replaced or new managers are promoted instantly, it often results in a toxic atmosphere where expectations are unrealistic and the workload becomes overwhelming. Instead of providing guidance or support, the new leadership tends to micromanage, puts bandaids over issues that badly needs a long term plan and fail to address the team’s concerns. What's worse? In the division of retirement/lifestyle team, the priority isn't providing quality accomodation and lifestyle but the bottom line, making the ASX stocks look higher, make the board happy(even when underneath it's a one big mess).
What’s most disappointing is the lack of respect for employees who have been loyal and put in their best effort. When the team faces challenges, the blame is often placed on individuals rather than addressing larger structural issues. Those who try to make a difference are typically left to handle more responsibility without proper recognition or compensation.Hence you rarely see any real innovation and real ideas. In the end, the company seems more interested in moving on to the next shiny thing than in truly developing or investing in the people who are doing the hard work.
If you value work-life balance, job security, or personal growth, this company may not be the right fit. Initiatives and changing the processes for better of everyoen is not rewarded here. Your job will not have much impact. It does not better communities. The leadership here often overlooks its employees’ contributions and focuses more on their own agendas. It’s a place where you’ll likely find yourself working nonstop without the support or appreciation you deserve.
