Great science but poor management! - Research Scientist Inovio Biomedical Employee Review

- Terrible management: upper managers don't care about those below them. They don't listen and refuse to address issues. They are NOT open with constructive criticisms. Anyone who express their concerns to the uppermangers are automatically considered as a trouble-makers and get punished. - Favorism: There are alot of favorism at work place that only kiss-a**ers tend to get promoted while people who actually care about the company get ignored or bullied. - Low salary (at least less than 20k compared to other companies in San Diego). - Promotion is for those who are sweet talkers. People who actually work hard for many years barely get promotions. - Mismanagement of resources: spend tons of money on company parties and holidays that results a huge layoff for those below while C-levels/VPs still keep their jobs safely!!! - HRs just sit there and do NOTHING!
