Pros
1. Get to work on different technologies. Managers will accommodate your interests. 2. Great Colleagues....no politics at lower levels, everyone is helpful, knowledgeable. In general a fun place to work. 3. Approachable VP's and middle managements. 4. Have been innovative in the past. 5. Flexible 6. Good work life balance.
Cons
1. Terrible upper management, full of lawyers with no understanding of technology. 2. Useless sales people, product managers with no ideas. 3. The mifi is over but they dont understand. 4. Layoffs every year. Shut down an entire office few months back. 5. CEO and CTO really incompetent 6. Very low salary, low bonus, stock is a joke, ESPP can get cancelled. 7. reviews are a waste of time. Individual performance is not considered only company performance. 8. You would think in a small company there would be less deadwood but you would be really wrong, this place is full of dead wood. 9. once you become manager this is a job for life....you will not be laid off even if your entire team is downsized. 10. CEO ties miniscule employee raises to profitability but not executive team bonus. Gives an idea of whom he blames for the current situation.
